You probably know that servicing your machines helps them function better in the long run, but did you know it also helps improve their ability to function on a day to day basis? It's a good idea to regularly clean your vacuum to help it function at it's best. Replace the bag, clean the dust cup and replace, or wash the filters. Replacing these things makes a huge difference in your vacuum's suction ability. You can have a very powerful vacuum, but if you have a dirty filter, or bag, you're not getting most of the suction to lift dirt up and out of your carpet. Don’t forget flip over your vacuum and snip away those threads and long hairs that get tangled in the rotating brush. Scissors work fine for trimming, but the easiest way is to use a seam ripper!
